BBQ 2009

On Wednesday June 10th, F.O.C.O. suspended its regular order of business for the last meeting

before summer break and had its 2nd annual BBQ in Eisenhower Park, Nassau County.
Approximately 75 members came down after work for some food, fun and fraternal spirit. Thankfully,

the weather cooperated and stayed dry……quite a feat for this month of June.
The board would like to thank everyone who stepped up to help out and would especially like to

acknowledge the following:

*Dan Robinson, Bob Pickwick and Tom Quinn for slaving over the hot coals
*Deb Verity, Sharon Levy and Michelle Molloy for bringing food, music and needed supplies
*Steve Hervan, Dan & Eric Robinson, Ed Margosian and Tom Quinn for providing plenty of ice
*Frank Barry for handling the garbage receptacles and recyclables
*The usual suspects for getting a head count back to us in time to shop
*Everyone who bought and sold a 50/50 for the evening.

Congratulations to Sgt. James DeJesus of Nassau County Court on winning $500 in said 50/50.
The F.O.C.O. Executive Board thanks everyone who showed up and supported us. We wish everyone a

safe and enjoyable summer/vacation season! Hope to see many of you at our upcoming

golf outing and future meetings.
