Our 2006 Holiday Teddy Bear
Drive collection period took place between
Nov. 27, and Dec. 20, 2006 this year. We are pleased to announce that
through the generosity of the courthouse community and the hard work of
our member volunteers, we were able to raise over 700 teddy bears.
On December 21st and December 22nd the donated bears were distributed to
hospitalized and less-fortunate children in the communities that we
serve. On those days, the bears were distributed to children at
Winthrop Pediatric Cancer Center, Schneider's Children's Hospital,
Ronald McDonald House, Franklin General Hos pital,
Nassau University Medical
Center and The Interfaith Nutrition Network. Your donated bears brought
smiles to many faces on those days. We only wish that all of you who
donated bears could have been there to see
the happiness that they
generated.

more bears received a special F.O.C.O. Donor Teddy Bear Pin.
